I need a memory upgrade to 24Gb. I have an Intel (R) Xeon Processor (R) CPU X5650 @ 2.67GHz, 2661 Mhz, 6 Core (s), 12 Logical Processor (s). Which finger memory model to install. Thanks.

Here is a primer for you. It will describe single and dual processors and allowable memory modules.
This configuration table will explain the slots and what does in each to optimize your system.
