@hilesten,

No, you cannot.  An HP BakerMS motherboard can only use a proprietary power supply. What model desktop do you have, and what is the part number of your current power supply.

@hilesten,

Btw, a 310-watt power supply can power a GTX 1650.

Now, a GTX 1660 has a 120-watt TDP (Total Design Power), and could, technically, be powered by a 310-watt power supply, as you can see here. A GTX 1660 still requires an 8-pin PCIe power cable, but it will never have to deliver anywhere close to the 150-watt.  Your PCIe x16 graphics slot can provide up to 75-watt of power, and that leaves (120-75) only 45-watt for the PCie power cable. So, given the PCIe power connector's low wattage requirement to power a GTX 1660, you could use a dual SATA 15-pin to 8-pin PCIe power adapter cable, such as this purchase example.

Not ideal, mind you, but this would work, but only for a low-wattage graphics card.

@hilesten,

As per this link, you can upgrade your power supply to either a 400-watt power supply with p/n: L04618-800, or a 500-watt power supply, with p/n: L05757-800:

Yes but can you recommend me some power supply that can hold rtx 4060? ( sorry if i bother you)

HP Recommended

@hilesten,

Technically/theoretically, your 310-watt power supply should be able to power an RTX 4060, such as this model (powered by a single 8-pin PCIe power cable), but you'll have to use a dual 15-pin SATA to 8-pin PCIe power adapter cable as mentioned in my previous post, since like a GTX 1660, the RTX 4060's TDP (115 watt) is remarkably low.

Preferably though, you should consider the proprietary HP 400-watt power supply with p/nL04618-800, which you should be able to find via eBay.

@thabomashaba,

Responding to an ill-informed message is a waste of my time, but here it goes: an HP BakerMS motherboard doesn't have a 24-pin ATX power connector and only accepts a proprietary HP power supply.
