@villa23 , welcome to the Community.

I would like to get some more information before making any recommendations.

1) How do you use the computer?  What games do you play?

2) What problems are you having with the RTX 2060 that came with the computer?  Does it have any 1x6-pin, 1x8-pin or both PCIe power connectors.

Thanks for answering.

Well I am receiving it as a gift.

I am a photographer and videographer, so I'll be using Photoshop, Lightroom and Premiere.

Also planning to use it for games like Fifa and COD

I am planning to upgrade the memory Ram to 32 gb.

But the gpu I have read it is mid tier, I want to be able to run greater than 60 fps in games.

Dont know about the pins, The computer have not arrived yet home.

You are welcome, @villa23!  Thank you for the additional information.  What a great gift! 😉

I recommend that you wait until the computer arrives to see how it runs with the games and software that you want to run.  The RTX 2060 is a very powerful video card and will most likely work fine.  I always recommend when upgrading a video card that you check the system requirements for the games and software you want to run.

Here is the app that I use for games: https://www.systemrequirementslab.com/cyri/requirements/call-of-duty-black-ops-cold-war/20163

The COD-Black Ops-Cold War should run great with the 2060.  Also, here are the system requirements for Photoshop: https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/system-requirements.html

You can do the same for the other programs that you want to run.  I just don't want you to spend money that isn't necessary.

When you buy memory it would be best to buy it from HP.  They own HyperX memory.  It will run at DDR4-2666, but other memory may not.  Just a heads-up.

If you still want to buy a video card, please use this thread.  It will notify me when you ask a question.  I will need to know which PCIe power connectors are on your PSU.
