Hi,

I received RAM and an EVGA GTX 1050 TI SC in the mail today. I ordered RAM I thought would work with my system, and the 2X4 4GB Modules I ordered did work in the system. However. THe PC is only accepting 4 GB and 8GB configurations. All 4 sticks I have are similar, and do work in the system. When I try to turn the pc on with all the sticks, it beeps 5 times assuredly. After reseating the RAM, I have found no luck. Can you please help me?

@galaxhex,

Welcome to our HP User Forum!

I am inclined to agree with @Paul_Tikkanen, and I quote: "Something is not right with the memory you bought."

Going through the information you provided, the EVGA GTX 1050 Ti requires a 300 Watt or greater power supply according to: https://www.evga.com/Products/Specs/GPU.aspx?pn=7E5BFB9F-C13B-4800-A855-BEA3724A5F8E, which you do according to: https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-compaq-pro-6300-microtower-pc/5232874/document/c03382665: 320 watt.
