Hi, I bought 8gb ddr3 memory pc3-10600 ecc REG DIMM 240 Pin 1333MHZ
x2 to replace my 6G of Ram and on start up i get a beep code for not booting up BIOS. I suspect it's because it's buffered ram not unbuffered. does it really have to be UDIMM?

Well, please try the following RAM
http://www.crucial.com/usa/en/compatible-upgrade-for/HP-Compaq/pavilion-550-153w
Must be UDIMM
Regards.
