I have an older Windows 10 HP Pavillion 500-339 with the Broadcom Mini PCIe Wifi/BT card that is Wireless N, what HP part can I purchase to get to at least Wi-Fi 5 or preferably 6 or 6e using the Mini PCIe connector on MB? I had used a TPLink AC600 USB adapter previously but for some reason it suddenly became "unrecognized" and stopped working completely....would like to just swap in a newer Mini PCIe card if possible.

Hi:
Are there two antenna wires connected to the Broadcom single band HMC card?
If so, you can upgrade to this model:
Broadcom BCM4352 802.11ac 2x2 Wi-Fi + Bluetooth 4.0 combo HP part # 724935-001
You can find the above model wifi card on eBay.
Search by the HP part number.

Yes there are two wires connected. Thanks I needed the part number to get it from Amazon. I still want to keep this old machine running as it is the only in house system that has the built in DVD/CD burner in it. I saw there was two options for HP parts for the 500 series one being an Intel Part (Assuming for Intel based MB's) but didn't really see one that stated the Broadcom HP Part number for the AMD based systems. I've ordered the part and will let you know if it worked or not.

You're very welcome.
You are correct.
I don't believe that the Intel 7260 AC would have worked in an AMD motherboard.
Some of the newer Intel M.2 cards do work with AMD PC's.
I have an Intel AX200 Wi-Fi 6 adapter in my HP notebook with an AMD Ryzen processor.
The BCM card I linked you to has the same specs as the intel card as far as throughput and Bluetooth.
The only disadvantage is the Broadcom drivers are from 2016 and Intel supported the 7260 with drivers into mid-2019.
W10 should install the drivers for the BCM card, but if not, here are the latest ones:
Broadcom Wireless LAN Driver (Windows 10)
7.35.351.0
https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp78001-78500/sp78044.exe
After you install this driver, W10 should install 7.35.352.0
Broadcom Bluetooth Driver
12.0.1.921
https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp75001-75500/sp75330.exe
Your BCM single band card may already have these drivers installed.
You can check.
