Dear Forum:
Came across this rather remarkable HP Pavilion TP01-3003W Desktop PC (318K3AA) deal on eBay, and couldn't resist buying it for the price:
Link ("More than 10 available - 29 sold"): New HP Pavilion Computer Intel 12th Gen i3-12100 4.30GHz 8GB RAM 512GB SSD W11 | eBay.
This system is most definitely upgradeable -should be a fun upgrade project!

Dear Community,
This item is now sold out ("Out of Stock") -apparently there were not "more than 10 available":
I got a UPS tracking number for shipment -but, quote: "UPS doesn’t have possession of the package yet."
Let's see how this plays out.
Kind Regards,

Dear Community,
And there we go: the snow-white HP Pavilion Desktop TP01-3xxx (318K3AA) with the Reno motherboard (SSID: 89B5), arrived in excellent condition, and appears to be brand-new, including a matching white wireless HP keyboard and mouse combo:
Only deviation from HP's specs I can detect at the moment is that the Seller changed the i5-12400 to an i3-12100, but that was advertised as such. I am still debating what processor upgrade I am going to install. Currently, I am drifting towards an i5-12600K/F (2.8 GHz up to 4.90 GHz, 10-Cores, 16-Threads, 125-watt TDP) because they are offered (eBay) for considerably less than the i7-12700K/F or the i9-12900K/F options.
This PC also came with an 500GB Western Digital PC SN530 M.2 NVMe SSD and one 8GB Kingston branded HP DDR4 3200 MHz (p/n: HP32D4U2S8MR-8) RAM stick.
This PC is powered by a 310-watt power supply with p/n: L08262-002. Can be upgraded up to a 500-watt power supply.
[EDIT:] Preloaded with Windows 11 Home Edition. Motherboard BIOS version: AMI F.12 (08/25/2022) --> updated to BIOS version F.25 (03/26/2024).
Preinstalled (M.2 Key A) Wi-Fi: Realtek RTL8821CE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac PCIe Adapter 5GHz + Bluetooth 4.2.
The desktop is downloading/installing Windows updates and drivers and such.
Cool!
Going to eat dinner and I'll be back.
Kind Regards,

Esteemed Forum,
What the heck, decided to purchase a well-priced i5-12600KF (10-Cores, 16-Threads, 2.80 GHz up to 4.90 GHz,125-watt TDP) via eBay:
Interestingly, not a single HP System Pavilion Desktop TP01-3xxx User in Userbenchmark has yet fitted a "K" or "KF" processor in their PC: https://www.userbenchmark.com/System/HP-Pavilion-Desktop-TP01-3xxx/267158, so I'm breaking a little ground here, I suppose.
The Reno motherboard's (SSID: 89B5) specs suggests a firm 65-watt TDP processor ceiling:
I beg to differ!

Hi Forum,
Decided to change the graphics card from an RTX 2060 Super to an HP-branded RTX 2080 8GB GDDR6:
Reran the Userbenchmark tests. Apparently, I must be doing something right, and I quote: "This PC is likely operated by a technical master!"
Without further ado, here we go:

And my HP Pavilion TP01-3xxx upgrade PC project is already ranked at #2:

Dear Forum,
In order to address the added heat an i5-12600KF (125-watt TDP processor) produces, I purchased a 125-watt TDP rated LGA1700 heatsink, with p/n: M78484-001:
LGA1700 CPU Cooler Option #2:
