i was inspired to do this upgrade project by NonSequitur777 i should give a little backstory to this upgrade i did so in 2021 my dad bought this z2 g4 for 466 usd with i7 8700 20 gigs of ram 1tb hdd so what i did was upgrade the psu from 250watts to 650 i got it for 70 usd and then bought a rtx 3060ti zotac twin edge for 164usd used the temps were pretty high at first for the gpu but i used msi afterburner to reduce the power limit to 80% and its super solid for gameing able to play the latest triple a titles and i could even connect the pc to my 65 inch tv useing hdmi but my table isnt big enough lol

An HP Z2 Tower G4 Workstation comes with two M.2 NVMe SSD slots, and yes, it should come with the screws (see blue circles in picture) already provided to install M.2 NVMe SSDs.

Actually, no, that would not be considered normal.
Do you have a UPS (uninterruptable power supply) hooked up to your PC?
Reason I ask is that one of the reasons your power supply may produce clicking noises is that if your wall power is "dirty" -meaning, fluctuating voltage. In my experience, some power supplies are more sensitive than others to respond to these voltage fluctuations. A UPS helps to clean that up and also prevents your system from potential electrical damages during "brown-outs", power bumps and black-outs.
Here is a good example of a UPS -there are many more to choose from, of course: Amazon.com: Liebert PST5 UPS - 850VA/500W 120V, LCD Monitoring Screen, Standby Power, 8 Outlets, USB.... You should get one with at least these qualifiers: 660VA/400W.
Kind Regards,

As long as your PC powers up and runs normal, you should be fine.
I would suggest using a generous amount of bubble wrap and using a quality carton shipping box.
