I have a omen model 875-0084 it has a founders edition 1080 8gb was wondering if a MSI Gaming GeForce RTX 3050 8GB GDRR6 Boost Clock: 1807 MHz 128-Bit HDMI/DP PCIe 4 Torx Twin Fans Ampere OC Graphics Card (RTX 3050 Ventus 2X XS 8G OC) would be compatible

All right, according to the specs, your OMEN by HP Obelisk Desktop 875-0084 (4NN70AA) with an EdorasDF motherboard (SSID: 84FD) was -originally at least, fitted with an RTX 2070 Super 8GB powered by a 750-watt HP-branded Cooler Master ATX power supply.

Meaning, yes, an RTX 3050 is very much compatible with your PC -with room to spare, so to speak.
