Hi Im wondering wich Intel processor would fit in for boosting my desktop without changing the motherboard . Actually its an I7 4770 chipset, 3.4 ghz , 12RAM DDR3 1600 pin, The video card is ok ; NVIDEA GEforce GTX 1060 6GB. I will also change my hard disk for SSD. The motherboard is : MS7826 Kaili. Thanks.

thx write, in French @Tiloubiz1 but no need, at least you have to write in English here anyway
Sorry I don't understand what you are referring to for the sata especially 111, I do not see what you are referring to
On a motherboard you can have the sata 3 or 6 gb, see my answer here
https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Desktop-Wireless-and-Networking/6-sata-3-0-on-motheboard-of-HP-pavilio...
it is not specified for yours
But you can check it at least with the intel utility, see the picture here
you have already visibly accepted the solution previously,
it can't work anymore, and you try to click my gif, callback

Thanks for the answer but its already a I7 3.4 GHz so, It is not possible to upgrading It. Is It true that an SSD hard drive would not ride like a SSD drive but a regular HDD drive with this motherboard? Also, the RAM memory is only 12G. The desktop use to be riding with windows10 32 bits but ive switch to 64 bit a Whitehorse ago. I read that It would be possible to boost that to 4x 8 G RAM. Would It be efficient enough to make the boost? Thanks

Hi @Tiloubiz1,
I agree with @Prométhée, the CPU upgrade may not be cost effective.
But you should do the HDD to a SATA SSD upgrade. This upgrade is the best bang for the buck.
Let me know if you want additional info on creating a current operating system image and recovery media using Macrium Reflect 8 free.
I would get a 2 TB SATA SSD to make the transition easy. You will have to verify you can move the existing disk volumes to the new SSD. You can't move 1.01 TB of data to a 1 TB SSD.
You can then use the existing 2 TB HDD as a second data drive.
You should be able to seamlessly (all things equal) move the operating system to the new SATA SSD.
No data loss. Minimal downtime.
Regards

it does not change my answer, but not exactly, the other must be slightly more efficient

It is absolutely wrong , a mechanical hdd disc will remain much slower.
You can lose a bit in performance with a SAta ssd if the transfer speed of the sata port is 3 gbits / s and not 6 gbits
it is not specified here:https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-envy-700-000-desktop-pc-series/5358989/document/c03748942
The ssd, therefore remains advantageous

see this, it can help you know whether need more memory or not,
Add RAMbut indeed 16gb, it can be more comfortable
on condition therefore of compatible modules, if you just add two others
The scan and or manual search, can help
on condition therefore of compatible modules, if you just add one in addition to the original ones
it is not indicated what you have in place 12 gb (2 * 6 ??)
- Amount: 12 GB
- Speed: PC3-12800 MB/sec
- Type: DDR3-1600
- Dual channel memory architecture
- Four 240-pin DDR3 DIMM sockets
- Supports DDR3 DIMMs
- PC3-10600 (DDR3-1333)
- PC3-12800 (DDR3-1600)
- Supports 1 GB, 2 GB, 4 GB or 8 GB DIMMs
- Supports up to 4 GB on 32-bit systems
note:
32-bit systems cannot address a full 4.0 GB of memory. - Supports up to 32 GB on 64-bit systems

Merci Promethee !! J'ai lu ton post sur les RAM. Ce sera suffisant avec 12G. Quel est la difference de connecteur entre SATA et SATA 111 s'il y en a une ? Your "accept this solution" button doesnt work.
