OMEN 25L
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello everyone,

I got couple of questions regarding the upgrade for my Omen desktop PC, full spec info you can find searching(OMEN 25L GT12-0048na Desktop PC Product Specifications) or following the HP link https://support.hp.com/rs-en/document/c06684172.

My questions are:

1. Since the GPU market is all over the price because of all the bitcoin minors is it worth upgrading considering the prices.

2. Is the upgrade to 3060 or 3080 worth it and should I sell my current one?

3.How would it affect my PC temperatures and space considering it might be a bigger one(see image on the link for reference)

4.Would my other components bottleneck the PC and would it even be compatible

5. Would upgrade(considering I sell the current GPU for roughly 220£) cost me a lot

If you guys need any further info or anything let me know

hi

1. Since the GPU market is all over the price because of all the bitcoin minors is it worth upgrading considering the prices.

It depends on the use of the computer; so yes, for some games

2. Is the upgrade to 3060 or 3080 worth it and should I sell my current one?

Same answer as for 1, it's up to you to see if it is no longer useful to you, or to keep in the event of a problem

3.How would it affect my PC temperatures and space considering it might be a bigger one (see image on the link for reference)

It depends on the model purchased, whether more or less well ventilated, but it will certainly lead to more heat yes!

4.Would my other components bottleneck the PC and would it even be compatible

You must check the power required by the manufacturer of the graphics card found, it could be insufficient: 500w

5. Would upgrade (considering I sell the current GPU for roughly £ 220) cost me a lot

Not understood, what is the question here ..
