Hello all,
I've been thinking of purchasing a RX 6600/RX 6600 XT or a better graphics card but I'm currently limited by the 310W HP PSU. I have a GTX 1650 Super currently
Is there an original HP PSU that has a higher wattage that I could buy without having to buy an ATX PSU or eventual adapters because of OEM stuff?
Can I still get to run the RX 6600XT with the 310W?
The only thing I've upgraded so far is the RAM from 8GB to 16GB.
Thanks in advance.

Welcome to our HP User Forum!
Your HP Pavilion Desktop PC TP01-1000i (8BG41AV) according to: https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c06908156, and: https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c06638240, is fitted with a Baker motherboard (SSID: 8767).
You can upgrade your power supply with a compatible 500-watt power supply with p/n: L05757-800. You can purchase one of these power supplies via eBay: https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_nkw=HP+L05757-800&_sacat=0&LH_PrefLoc=1&rt=nc&LH_BIN=1.
In terms of upgrading your graphics card, fitted with the aforementioned high-quality HP 500-watt PSU, I would recommend a Nvidia card (not AMD), such as an RTX 2070, RTX 2070 Super, RTX 3060 or RTX 3060 Ti.
For a processor upgrade, I would recommend an i7-10700.
Hope this was helpful.
Kind Regards,

Any particular reason why you deem NVidia better than AMD?
For the PSU, I'm not located in the USA, I'm in Italy and shipping fees and customs/import fees from the USA are really high. Is there an option to put a standard ATX PSU in the PC?
Thanks in advance.

Why Nvidia over AMD? My first couple of graphics cards were AMD, mostly because they were cheaper than Nvidia cards. Make a long story short: AMD cards just aren't performing as well as Nvidia cards. My experience is that Nvidia cards generally perform better and smoother compared with AMD cards. Better driver support and game compatibility too.
So, yes, Nvidia just has a better out of the box experience. That is to say: their drivers are just straight out better and more reliable. I also prefer their control panel. There is a reason why I enjoy gaming with an RTX 3080. Zero crashes. You get what you pay for. Better overclocking results as well.
As far as the 500-watt power supply upgrade is concerned, here is the eBay-Italy purchase link: HP L05757-800 in vendita - | eBay. May be expensive, but this 500-watt PSU upgrade is your only option. Bite the bullet. HP does not allow/accommodate using industry standard ATX power supplies, only proprietary PSUs.
