- Hi. So i have hp compaq 6000 pro. It has intel core 2 duo E8400 and 7gb or ram. I wanted to ask if i put geforce gt 720 will it work? I will be more than happy if i can becuse i planned to use it as gaming pc but for some low end games beacuse integrated graphics chip that came with pc cant even run like roblox.

Hi:
You should be fine with a GT 720 or the GT 730.
This video shows where a GT 710 worked in the SFF...

I tested a GT 1030 in my HP 8000 Elite CMT (which is an upscale version of the 6000 Pro), and it worked fine too.
I suggest you update the BIOS to the latest version if you have not done so already.
You can do that with using the F10 setup BIOS flash method and you don't need to update the BIOS running an unsupported operating system.
