Hi there. I have a much loved Envy 27 from 2016 with one of the Skylake boards - Pegatron's Bulldozer 4GL motherboards. This has currently been upgraded to a full 16 Gigs of DDR 3 memory but I am restricted by the very mundane Discrete AMD R7 A365 GPU which is of course non changeable. The form factor of the board requires something the same but with a far better discrete graphics offering. Is there a candidate - which would also presumably support DDR4 that would otherwise retain the rest of my current boards offerings. I am contemplating changing to an I7-6700k from the i7-6700t currently fitted. I have upgraded both main and SSD drives to much higher specs. The Boot drive is a Kingston 1.92Tbyt and the Standard drive to a 2 TByte Seagate Firecuda 2.5 I know that there will probably be a chorus of "go out and buy a new up spec offering" but two things militate against that. First I like the form of what I have. I don't want the new boxy block and secondly - apart from costing around £2700 which is out of the range of most people of my age it does not have the disc set up I already enjoy. Sadly when one reaches my age finance options just disappear along with your youth so you have to learn to work round it. Any help will be appreciated and your patience will also receive similar appreciation.

Actually, your at an impasse. There is no viable solution.
The I7-6700K is not an option. The current GPU is soldered onto the motherboard.
