Sorry. My bad. I really was looking at the wrong list. Nevertheless, i9-9900K is on the right list too. Why can't I upgrade to this CPU?

HP Recommended

The 600 G2 only supports the Intel 6th generation (Skylake) processors.

You could install the i7-6700K processor if you want, but that would be a waste of time if you wanted it to natively support W11.

My computer already has an i7-6700, but why doesn't my computer support an i9-9900K while the CPU sockets are the same?

HP Recommended

The BIOS doesn't support it, the chipset doesn't support it...Other than the processor fitting in the socket, the socket is the least important aspect as to why a processor will work in a certain motherboard or not.

I can 100% guarantee you that if you install an Intel 7th, 8th or 9th generation core processor in your PC, you will be 100% disappointed when it does not work.

Ok. There is nothing to do then. Kiitoksia.

You're very welcome.

For upgrading the processor to support W11--nothing.

To run W11 on your PC as is, I have given you the easy instructions to do that.
