awesome  I appreciate your responses I’ve only been able to come across the same

brand for 16GB which is  SK Hynix 16Gb 2rx8 DDR4 So-DIMM PC4 21300 2666MHZz memory module HMA82GS6JJR8N-VK. I’m not too skilled in this area so I’m hoping that one would be right my current ram stick is a SK Hynix as well but the modules are different does that matter?

Don't worry about purchasing the same RAM (Hynix) brand.

 

Besides, the Hynix HMA82GS6JJR8N-VK has a lower RAM speed (2666 MHz) than you would like (3200 MHz).

 

Here are two outstanding 2x16GB dual-rank RAM kit purchase examples:

 

Timetec 32GB KIT(2x16GB) DDR4 3200MHz (or 2933MHz or 2666MHz) PC4-25600 Non-ECC Unbuffered 1.2V CL22...

 

Silicon Power DDR4 16GB 3200MHz (PC4-25600) CL22 SODIMM 260-Pin 1.2V Non-ECC Laptop RAM Notebook Com...
