I purchased a M.2 SSD drive to upgrade my computer from the HDD before understanding SATA vs NVME.
I have a Menlo motherboard 843F 00 with a M.2 SSD socket. I already purchased a M.2 SATA drive. Is my socket SATA or NVME?
The product name is 3LB72AA#ABA. Will the Samsung 860 EVO SATA M.2 drive work? Besides cloning and changing boot selection, is there anything else I need to do. I am not a computer expert but I have upgraded PC's with success before.

Hi, @BrianBag
If you look at this discussion, it appears a NVMe M.2 SSD is also supported in the Menlo motherboard...
NVMe M.2 SSD's provide faster read/write speeds than SATA ones do.

THANK YOU FOR QUICK REPLY.
I need to find/purchase a screw tomorrow and and then install. I hope that I can change BIOS without issue. If I would have known better, I would have bought a NVME but since I already have the SATA I will install. I wish to clone HDD and boot from SSD going forward. If all goes well I will surely hit the thumbs up!
