what my country does regarding warranty law is not relevant, what matters is the country where you live and i'm not going to be drawn into a pointless discussion.
unless you have another question i'll consider your current post answered and move on, others are obviously free to comment, however

Do note that all the questions or pointers in my discussion are based out of my own experiences or posted replies only and I am not trying to draw anyone into pointless discussion. However, I do have a pointer which I try to draw out of my discussion on obsolescence, which is, does a HP PC customer have to bear all the expenses arising due to the care pack withdrawals and replacement of bad quality refurbished spare while during warranty just beacuse a particluar model had failed/ low performed in any country's market?
For instance, the refurbhished display appears little pale yellowish than the OEM display that came with the system. I felt this in my own experience itself, which ended me in getting a full product refund with the option of buy-back that is not legalized in my country, however, I got it by writing to HP CEO directly.

Sorry @ we will not be able to answer this question precisely
You tell us about specific problems, which will not necessarily happen with all models, in any country
now only the relevant service of your country could answer you, and it will not be here
see contact options
again, as far as the extended warranty is concerned, it's not exactly obsolescence
obsolescence in the literal sense is the moment when the computer can no longer function at all, where it is already outdated by technology..
