As discussed, plug it in here:
The extension SATA cable plugs into your splitter on one end, and you can feed the other end of the SATA extension cable through the back of your computer (by removing a PCI bracket) and then plug it into the ATX power adapter card's SATA connection. The 24-pin power connector from your secondary power supply plugs into the 24-pin connection of the power adapter card. -Done.

Looks like you don't need the SATA extension cable after all. That's it, from the picture's angle it's looking great. See if you can guide the GPU's power cables and SATA to SATA power cable through an opening in the back of your desktop as I explained, (removing an PCI bracket) so that you can close up your desktop with the top panel.

Thank you for the checkup. Have you considered CPU bottlenecking? For a user-friendly explanation and step by step fix suggestions, please take a look at this link: Fix Stuttering in Games [Causes and Top Solutions] (graphicscardhub.com), and I quote:
"If you are facing CPU bottle necking and high CPU usage in a game then you can face frequent stuttering and drop in FPS too. This generally happens for two reasons, first if your CPU is underpowered or when the game is heavily CPU dependent. It can also occur when there is a compatibility issue of the game with some CPUs. An example of CPU Bottleneck is when you pair a budget CPU like Intel Dual Core e.g. G4400 with a powerful graphics card like GTX 1080 Ti, then it will result in CPU Bottlenecking. This scenario can lead to 100% CPU usage in AAA games while the GPU usage remains very low. So, here you will have to upgrade your CPU . . ."
