Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I was looking to upgrading my memory ram currently I have 2x4 ram installed giving me a total of 8gb of ram but I want to change that to 8x2 ram cards to have a total of 16gb of ram does my pc support this upgrade.

Look at the section titled "Memory upgrade information" for the type and size of memory that is compatible.  Also, here is the memory that is recommended by Crucial Memory:  https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-pavilion-p6300-desktop-pc-series/4079858/model/4120588/docum...

 

I suggest that you consider upgrading your Hard Drive Disk (HDD) to a Solid State Drive (SSD).  Look at the ones that Crucial recommends in the link that I provided.  If you have questions about their memory or SSD's, you can contact their Tech Support for help.  They are very helpful.
