ENVY Model 750-0xxx product number 6XQ71AV
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I see a P4 and P5 connectors however they both have 6 connectors whereas The SSD and the hard drive installed only have 4.  If I need an adapter,  If you know what It would be called that would be appreciated.

@j109,

Your Product number 6XQ71AV is an HP 795-0030XT CTO model.   Why are you call it an HP 750-0xxx?

What are you calling a P4 and P5 connector?

The original hard drive and DVD drive are powered from a single cable, and is a 4 pin cable.

The 2nd and 3rd hard drive has a unique 6 pin power cable, feeding 2 SATA drives.

My purchase paperwork did call it an HP 795-0030xt.   When I looked at  system information it comes up as HP 750-0xxx.  The P4 and P5 are two 6 pin connectors that were tucked under the drive bay.  I know that the installed disk driver and  the

DVD are fed from a 4 pin connector.  My question remains can I connect to that same 4 pin connector.  I tried lifting/ taking the drive bay out to see where that 4 wire connector goes but it just moves a fraction of an inch.  Either there is something locking it,  which I do not see, or it is press fitted very securely.  Thanks for your input.
