Microsoft Windows 11

Hello!

Maybe here someone can help me.

I want to upgrade my HP Envy 34 i9 64GB to 128GB

So i thought i can by any compatible RAM - but this is not possible because the RAM seems to be locked in the BIOS.

Can me help anyone which RAM is compatible.

Original i have the following RAM:

2x32GB Hynix  PC5 4800B SB0 1010 XT  PN: HMCG88MEBSA092N BA but this can not be bought from HP or in any location here in europe.

I Have tried up to now following RAM:

Corsair Vengeance 2x32GB DDR5 4800MHz SODIMM CL40 260Pins   NOT WORKING

Kingston KCP548SD8K2-64                                                                             NOT WORKING

What i would like to get a list of all RAM that is compatible and not blocked in the BIOS!

I also tryed each RAM Type alone - so without the Hynix original RAM - it is not working either.

I have also the last Firmware Bios on my computer!

Thank you

@Peter9310,

Welcome to our peer-to-peer HP Community Forum!

Best solution is to purchase matching RAM modules.  HP PCs are finnicky when it comes to RAM compatibility and achieving max I/O RAM speeds.

Indeed, it looks like your purchase options are few and especially far between, but here is one purchase option via eBay-Germany: Hynix 32GB DDR5-4800 SODIMM HMCG88MEBSA092N HMCG88MEBSA095N Laptop Memory RAM | eBay.

Hope this was helpful.

Kind Regards,
