Good evening, I would like to know! I have a motherboard called Hewlett-Packard 1494 and I can't find any information about what processors are on it. Can you or come here tell me the processor i7-3770 or intel xeon E3-1275 v2 LGA1155, if they are not suitable, then to which processor should I upgrade? (I have an i5-2400 processor)
Added - BIOS firmware JOI v02.32

Hi:
You can install one of the supported processors HP offered in the model series at the link below:
HP Compaq 8200 Elite Series (kelsusit.com)
Other processors not on the list would be those from this benchmarking website at the link below:
UserBenchmark: HP Compaq 8200 Elite CMT PC Compatible Components
I believe that if your PC is at BIOS revision 2.15 or newer any of the Xeon processors listed in the above benchmarking link won't work.

You're very welcome.
No Intel 3rd generation core processor will work in any PC with an Intel Q67 chipset such as the 8200 Elite has, regardless of the BIOS version installed.
Intel once released a notice about that, but the link no longer exists.
This is what the notice had indicated: " For desktop boards based on the Intel® Q67 Express Chipset, Intel® Q65 Express Chipset, or Intel® B65 Express Chipset, upgrading from a 2nd Generation to a 3rd Generation Intel® Core™ Processor isn't possible."
