Hi, I have the specified Victus 15L and I want to upgrade the stock cooler. The problem is I don't know the socket type on the Erica8 motherboard since it's a custom one and when I checked online I saw some people were using LGA1700 compatible coolers and some using LGA1151 (that one was for the same motherboard for a Pavilion series). I'd appreciate all the help. Thank you.

Greetings @ozguncanorhan
Welcome to the HP Forum.
HP: Intel and AMD MBs, in this series PC, use the Intel socket.
Recent retail CPU air coolers will provide a CPU socket backplate that can adapt to newer Intel sockets.
Your primary concern would be installing a low profile CPU air cooler that will work with TG02 case dimensions and MB layout.
This CPU cooler is compatible with your PC's case. This cooler is also available in black at Amazon. Check this YouTube CPU cooler installation video in a TG01 HP PC.
It is possible to use the HP provided CPU socket backplate using different screws available at Amazon. Watch the YouTube video to see what screws are needed.
You would have to remove the MB from the PC case to use the Noctua mounting system.
