I need to connect a second monitor but the HDMI port doesn't work so i need to change the Video Card
my pc is hp compaq elite 8200 small form factor I5 16 GB ram, i don't know which video card with HDMI port can work on it ?

Hi:
The AMD Radeon HD 6450 low profile graphics card was the optional card for the 8200 Elite SFF.
You can still find them relatively easy.
If you want a newer model card, the Nvidia GT 710 should also work. It only draws 25W of power.

i think will go with the 1st and hopefully it will work - but would you recommend that or should I go with te newer model? I use lots of charting softwares so i need a good video card

I checked on the GT 710 and I read it requires a 300W power supply ( tho the consumption is only 25W) and I believe the one i’ve in my PC(according to the hp manual) is 240W
Unless you don’t see the power supply as a problem, I think I will try the Radeon and see if it works well

I recommend installing a much newer graphics card, such as a gtx 1050 ti, it is worth the price, almost quadrupling the integrated graphics on the default motherboard.
