HP Desktop - M01-F0016
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

PC is a HP Desktop - M01-F0016.  I believe there may not be a spare slot for an add'l NVMe SSD, but is there a kit available to add a slot?  is the motherboard even capable of running 2 NVMe SSDs?

I'd be grateful for any guidance!

@phoebusl,

Welcome to our HP Community forum!

Your HP Desktop - M01-F0016 (6YQ85AA) as fitted with the Erica motherboard (SSID: 8643), has one PCIe x16 socket that you could use -assuming you are not using it for a graphics card, for a PCIe to m.2 NVMe SSD adapter, such as this Amazon purchase option: https://www.amazon.com/RIITOP-PCIe-NVMe-Adapter-Converter/dp/B07GFDVXVJ/ref=sr_1_2_sspa?crid=38DBQAA....

The advantage of this adapter card is that it comes with an M.2 NVMe SSD heatsink, which is a nice bonus.

This is the only way how you could install another M.2 NVMe SSD in your system.

Kind Regards,
