Product: HP Laptop PC 15s-fq2000 (2D120AV)

I had win 11 in my system and due to blue screens  I resetted my pc. and It's running win10 and it's showing as win 11 when I run "winver" in my computer. now and if I reinstall win 11 does it activate automatically or should I purchase a new key?

Hi:

 

If your notebook originally came with W10/W11 from HP, you should be able to activate the W10/W11 installation with your notebook's W10/W11 product key that is encrypted in the BIOS.

 

Download and install the free showkey plus app from the Microsoft Store.

 

ShowKeyPlus - Microsoft Apps

 

It will show you the W10/W11 OEM product key in the BIOS and the version of W10/W11 the key is good for.
