Cant install Windows updates because Bios has to be upgraded from what I gather in the error message I received. How can I fix this issue? Tks V~slims

That simply mean you have to update BIOS. Please download and install BIOS from the following link

 

             https://support.hp.com/ca-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-elitedesk-705-g4-small-form-factor-pc/21353680

Something does not seem right. Your other post (you posted twice) states you got the new system 3 days ago.  The latest and only bios as linked by @banhien  is dated May 2021.  Normally HP would have updated the bios by now.

 

I do not recall ever seeing a bios request upgrade from Microsoft but I can learn new things too..  I assume that some other advisor app requested the upgrade.

 

What was the error message?  What Microsoft update fails to install unless the bios is updated?
