Hi
The GTX 1060 will work with your PC's UEFI BIOS.
You will have to upgrade the factory 180 watt power supply to, at least, a 400 watt power supply which has a 6pin/eight pin supplemental PCIe power connector.
The potential problems have to do with motherboard/chassis dimensions:
1. Graphics card; the 1060 is close to seven inches in length and is a dual slot card. The 24 MB power connection is very close to the x16 slot where the graphics card connects to the MB. This 24 pin connection may interfere with the installation of a seven inch card.
The 1060 is a dual slot card. You have to have clear access to two adjacent PCIe rear chassis knockout plates to install the graphics card. Please review your PC's MB image at this HP Support site. Look at the lower left corner of the MB just below the PCIe x16 graphics card slot. It looks like the MB has a front audio header and USB 2.0 header which may interfere with installing any dual slot graphics card. Cables will be in the direct path of the required second backplate which will prevent you from installing a dual slot card.
2. Power Supply; you will have to purchase a new power supply with similar measurements to the current factory power supply.
A single slot graphics card will work in your chassis.

Hi
A new power supply will fit in the existing HP chassis if you match the dimensions of the new power supply with the current power supply.
Moving all of the components to a new case is possible.
You may have some problems.
The first issue is HP may not honor the warranty in a different chassis.
The front panel LED's and power switch connections on the new case may not match the HP MB headers.
You will not be able to move the 3-1 memory card reader. The DVD drive may not move to the new case.
You must verify the MB mount points on the HP MB will align correctly and exactly match the position and number of MB standoffs in a different chassis. Failure to do this can short the MB and all connected components.

Hi
Sorry.
Forgot to make one additional, very important point; you still will have a problem installing a dual slot longer graphics card because of the motherboard, 24 pin power connector and possible front audio connector.
