Z600 workstation
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have recently got a z600 workstation from a friend and was wondering if i was able to put in 2 ryzen 5 3600 cpu's inplace of the two intel xeon 6 core's.  Also if im not able to put the cpu's in, i would like some other help to find two better cpu's for the workstation to make it faster and run smoother.

the hp z600 uses a "INTEL" based chipset/motherboard, you can not use any AMD cpu's in  it

please look at the latest revision of the HP "quickspecs" for supported cpu's this document was updated several times during the z600 series lifetime  note that there are two revisions of the z600 motherboard the first revision only uses 55xx xeons and the sec board rev can use 55xx/56xx model xeon cpu's

i recommend you post any further z600 questions in the workstation forum since your z600 is a workstation model
