Today while attending a ZOOM video chat meeting my cpu fan kicked in louder and louder and louder. Then my screen went blank and nothing turned it on again. Pressing the power button once resulted in my PC shutting off.
I checked the device manager after a restart and there was an exclamation mark next to my video card driver, which I updated.
I rebooted and then checked my device manager. All OK. I checked my dump file and there was no record of a crash.
I started up ZOOM again and sure enough after a couple of minutes my fan started getting louder and louder. I then exited ZOOM and the issue stopped. I don't seem to be having any other issues yet. I am thinking this is an OS bug?
Would some one be able to help me here?
Thanks.

Hello. I was able to fix this issue. I discovered that ZOOM has a feature in the settings area under recording that says, "start recording when sharing screen." I disabled that feature. I also disabled the feature that automatically enters full screen when sharing a screen starts. I also disabled hardware acceleration. Plus, I opened up my PC and discovered a crazy amount of dust, which I cleaned out.
I am no longer having any issues using ZOOM Meetings.
Thanks.
