add RAM and doesn't work

Hi , i wanted to add a RAM , the firts time i took two at 8 gb , with the same characteristics as installed in the computer , after installation , the computer turned on but windows did not work.

I installed back the old and computer worked fine , i thought they were broken.

The second time i took two at 16 gb , with the same characteristics as installed in the computer and after installation there was the same problem , the computer turned on but windows doesnt' work.

Maybe HP set a lock to install additional RAM ?

It has 2 x 8GB of RAM, total 16GB

It has 2 x 8GB,  you replaced with other 2 x 8GB and it did not work that means RAM is NOT compatible. I've got no idea why you did that, what for ?

What do you mean "with the same characteristics" ? Again, RAM is not compatible for sure.

Please check existing RAM, record it to a piece of paper and buy the same RAM with higher capacity.

You didn’t understand at all what i want.

I just wanted to add RAM.

The first time I tried these: Crucial Ballistix Sport LT BLS8G4D240FSEK 2400 MHz, DDR4, DRAM, 8 GB, CL16, Red

Second time these: HyperX Fury HX424C15FB3 / 16 DIMM DDR4 16GB 2400MHz CL15 Nero

Third time these: Crucial CT8G4DFS824A  8 GB, DDR4, 2400 MT / s, PC4-19200, Single Rank x 8, DIMM, 288-Pin

Also these: Crucial CT8G4DFS824A Memories 8 GB, DDR4, 2400 MT / s, PC4-19200, Single Rank x 8, DIMM, 288-Pin I installed on another computer and they work!

I think this is the fault of HP!

Why I can not add RAM.

Yep, aint that right.

I've bought HP Ram, compatible with my PC and also not working.

Also I double check my Desktop specs befor I did bought my Ram upgrade and is not working.

My pc beeps 5 times, faulty memory.

I did send that Ram back for guarantee and the service told me that the ram is perfectly fine.

My desktop is working normally with 2 x 4 gb but not with 4 x 4 gb....
