adding additional ssd

can an additional ssd be added to hp envy m6-aq105dx without replacing 1Tb hdd??

Hi:

 

According to chapter 1, page 3 of the service manual, your notebook should have a M.2 slot that supports SATA M.2 SSD's not, NVMe.

 

HP Envy x360 m6 Convertible PC (model numbers m6-aq1XX and m6-aq0XX) Maintenance and Service GuideIM...

 

I suggest opening up the notebook first and making sure the M.2 slot is there before buying a SATA M.2 SSD.
