Okay.I get a blue screen at startup,with the phrase a fan is not oparating correctly. Near the botom it will read CPU Fan (90B).
Just want to know where it is exactly, so I can replace it. When I remove the cover,trhere is a fan operating, but is that the one.

Since the error could be caused by overheating due to lack of cooling, be careful not to run the PC more than a minute or so at a time until you can be sure the fans are working properly. If the CPU fan is not doing it's job, you can burn out a CPU if it runs too long and hot.
The fan should not just be moving, but pushing a good amount of air. On a small PC like that, I expect at least two fans. One for the power supply and the other for the CPU. There could be more though.

Thank you. I do understand the importance of fans.The fan I see when opening is moving. But probably not as it should.
My problem wasidentifying the fan.It states CPU Fan, but is that the fan Isee when I remove the cover?

Just to confirm, is this your PC: HP Slimline Desktop - 260-p026? I assume so.
This is the only picture I could find of the inside of the 260-p026 that had a fan mounted. Small, but hopefully it will due:
The horizontal fan is the CPU fan. The fan monitoring is most likely on that one.
The other fan would be in the power supply. That is the long box at the bottom of the picture. Generally you don't take those apart, but you could blow some air into each side to try and dislodge any dust and fluff. Make sure that one is spinning as well.
