HPZ620

I am having problems booting my HPz620 (which is listed in another post)

meanwhile I am concerned about the data held on the HDD and wanted some advice about backing up.

The computer contains 2 x 1TB boot drive which is mirrored.

is it ok to remove one of these mirrored drives and plug it into an equivalent HP machine to make a copy from it?

I have no experience with manually backing up mirrored drives (especially a boot drive)

thanks

Yes we have had to do the same thing with desktop/server drives and laptop drives.

Move it to another system then copy and paste all you want.

Do you want to just back-up the DATA or do you want to make a bootable image???

Do you have Physically Identical Drives or do you have Logical Drives???

Hi REO

Yes physically identical drives, I don't care about the bootable image, simply there is about 300GB of data on the desktop that I would like to backup.

Can I safely move one of these drives to another machine? for the purposes of copying the data?

Thanks
