I have a 14" HP envy with an i7 intel processor that I've been using since 2021. It has a fingerprint scanner but the scanner hasn't worked in about 6 months. I have tried reinstalling the driver many times and been on so many FAQ sites but I cant seem to find a fix. The option is there in settings for me to add a new fingerprint etc. but it wont let me do it, as if the fingerprint reader is not there.
