hello,
i wanna ask about CPU upgrade , right now i use intel i5 2500 and want to upgrade to Intel xeon E3 1275 V2
my mainboard is HP-IPMMB-FM ( formosa ) Chipset Z-75 and support 2nd and 3rd gen intel CPU .

honestly i don't know if that will make a big difference ..
but otherwise, I have a little doubt, you have confirmed the model that I found, except you said to me:
"with intel i5 2500"
but the product page indicates this processor

where is the error?
How do you use this computer?
I can't tell you not to try, you might be fine!
but I can not tell you either, go ahead, risk that it does not work for maybe anyway a gain not very important, that would be silly of me

my computer is HP envy Phoenix h9 with intel i5 2500 , intel customer service said my mainboard chipset z75 and cpu socket H2-1155 is supported for intel Xeon E3 1275 v2 ( ivy bridge ).....someone sell that xeon cpu for 55$ in my country

And as I said, you can test but it just might not work!
Why absolutely want this processor?
You do not give me the computer model!
