Hi:

 

That processor would not work.

 

Only processors with a max FSB speed of 1066 MHz are supported.

 

Here is the link to the HP dc5700 quickspecs.

 

HP Compaq dc5700 Business PC (bulcom2000.com)

 

The supported processors can be found on page 8.
