I installed the gpu yesterday, it was working, but today when I tried to turn it on, it made this grinding noise, when there was noise, the button on the left lights up, when it stops making the noise for a second, the light turns off too

@philicheesestea,

You haven't told me what model graphics card you got.  The picture you just posted looks like your desktop is in need of some serious cleaning.  Disconnect from power, remove the top panel and front bezel, remove your graphics card, and use compressed ("canned") air to blow out the dust bunnies, and blow out your PCIe x16 slot.

Kind Regards,

I was wrong, there is no weird noice anymore, but the pc still won’t turn on, the pc still lights up like normal, but the monitor is a black screen

Do you need a new cable or something for the gpu

@philicheesestea,

Your graphics card should work just fine, as it did initially.  Btw, I assume you were able to use the low-profile bracket? Did you clean your desktop as I suggested?

Advising you remotely is challenging.  In your shoes, I would try out your graphics card's DisplayPort (DP) video outputs.  I assume you are using the graphics card's DVI port to your monitor.  Come to think of it, I would also make sure your monitor works.

The monitor does work, it just says no signal and goes back to sleep

And I didn’t change any port things, I just plugged all the cables and stuff back to the same place
