Dear Bingoski,

Your issue may have something to do with one or more corrupted files in your desktop. I would suggest to run the following CMD commands ("Run as administrator") by typing in or copying them one by one to scan your system files and to repair any missing or corrupted system files:

DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth

sfc /scannow

Please do not close the Command Prompt window until the verification processes are completed. The scan results will be shown after this process is finished.
