Operating System: Microsoft Windows XP

My computer is the D530 Ultra Slim Desk Top type.

 

I need to change the cmos battery, which I believe is under the power supply unit - how do I remove the power supply unit?

@nicefella 

Is this your motherboard layout?   The coin style battery is shown.

If it is rather square, then the coin battery is indeed beneath the PSU.

See this video on how to tear down to get at it.

Hi the link you gave is for a SFF D350  - is nothing like a USDT 530!  (ultra slim desk top)

????  I never mentioned SFF in my first statement.

 

The number on the back of the case is {edited]

 

I would have thought all USDT types would be the same power supply unit.

That is unfortunate, the only thing o go on then is that my computer is a USDT - ultra slim desktop D530.

And I'm sure they all all the same power supply setup.

Yes, I realised that later that it was the number for the power supply.

 

The battery is indeed under the power supply, by accident I found the catch at the end of the hard drive, and have now successfully replaced the battery.
