Make sure you clean the fans/heatsink (with compressed air in a can for example). If they are plugged up with dust the computer will run the fans at higher speeds to try and keep the system cooler so you'll hear them more.

@Billat710

Thank you for the information.

Yes, the fan sound will be heard when the fan is running and it is normal.

I hope that answers your question.

Loud computer fans are overloaded fans, which could impact the overall performance of your PC. Of course, your fans aren't the only source of noise coming from your PC. Other computer whirring noises are likely to be caused by components such as your hard drive, especially if your drive has failed.

@KEYSLOG

I understand your concerns.

In that case, I would suggets you conatct our phone support and check for the support option. They will help you.

Here is how you can get in touch with phone support.

1)Click on this link - www.hp.com/contacthp/

2)Select the product type.

3)Enter the serial number of your device or select let HP detect your product option.

4)Select the country from the drop-down.

5)You should see the HP phone support number or Chat option listed.

We are experiencing longer than expected wait times to reach an agent due to the CoViD-19 impact and there might have been issues in you getting the expected resolution on the issue.

Have a nice day!!
