Here is the 'official' HP compatible processor listing for an HP Z2 Tower G4 Workstation: GetDocument.aspx (hp.com).

Mind you, this is not a complete CPU listing, as various compatible processors are not listed, such as the i9-9900KF, i7-9700KF, Xeon E5-2278G, and Xeon E5-2288G processors.

That is a really good question, and I am not sure.  Meaning, I don't think that the Resizable Bar (enabling) is supported by an HP Z2 tower G4 Workstation, based on this Nvidia Settings specification on my HP Z2 Tower G4 Workstation:

I agree with you, because there are no setting options in the HP 8455 bios. I hope in the next bios update can available options fore Resizable Bar.

And speaking of BIOS updates, I just happened to check and found out that there was a new BIOS update available: BIOS version 01.08.09 (March 22nd, 2024), which I missed since I got the previous 01.08.08 version:

Flashed/installed, but still a "No" for Resizable Bar"...
