Hi

 

have an Hp Pavilion 690-0020 which has an I5 8400 in it. My mate has an I5 9500 which he is willing to give me, will this work in my system as when i check it lists the only upgrades as an I5 9400 or I7 9700.

if we compare the two models, in theory this should work
