Have you guys had experience with support simply not telling the truth?

I was told by two support folks yesterday they would call me back one within two hours another by cob.  neither called.

I was told by one sales person my product would ship Monday and that was why I should buy it.  it didn't ship until I made like 7 calls.

 

I was told by two people it had shipped when it didn't.

what is with these folks?
