elitedesk 800 g2 mini
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi is it posible to connect 4 displays to a elitedesk 800 g2 mini?

No.

The problem is that any mini does not have a PSU that is capable of providing power to a video card that provides an output to four displays.

You will need a fullsized PC  to do this. The half-height requirement for any optional card for a mini is a serious limitation. Full sized PCIe x16 cards won't physically fit in your mini PC.

Take a read of the following article.

There would be ways around it with a PC that can accept a PSU that has some power.

The problem is the size of the mini. It is a roadblock for the mini.

In a full sized PC you can put in two PCIe cards and then have four displays.

There are video cards that use a splitter to enable four outputs to displays.

Take a close look at the specs on the following web page at NewEgg.com. Half-height is a requirement for your mini.  Don't forget the PSU requirement.

yes but what about DisplayPort Multi-Stream Transport (MST)

DisplayPort multi-stream monitors ‘daisy-chained’ together

so can I use a thing like this?: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DXveT5UgEds

Multidisplay Support:

A maximum of 4 displays are supported by the card. A maximum of 2 legacy displays (Native VGA, DVI, or displays connected with passive DisplayPort adapters are considered as legacy)

Output Connectors:

1 x Dual-Link DVI-I, 2x DisplayPort; Includes DVI to VGA adapter

From: http://store.hp.com/us/en/mdp/business-solutions/elitedesk-800-mini

there is 1 VGA-output port, and 2 DisplayPort video-outputs.

So, given that DisplayPort monitors can be "daisy-chained", it might be possible to have 4 monitors, by using both DisplayPort outputs.

There might be more information at that URL to describe which combinations of monitors are supported by the integrated video-adapter.

According to an article at displayport.org  that I just read, daisy chaining displayport displays is possible. I suggest that you read through the articles to see what you can do with your mini PC..

the display ports are v1.2 but are on intel graphics so is the MST HUB supported?

Presumably, Intel's graphics-adapter correctly supports DisplayPort V1.2 protocol.

Tell us more about your monitors.  Have you already purchased them?

If you want to "daisy-chain" your monitors, the "last" monitor in the chain can be a V1 monitor (one DisplayPort for "input", but no DisplayPort for "output"), and all the "middle" monitors require both an "input" and an "output" DisplayPort.

So, computer-DisplayPort-1 connects to a V1.2 monitor, which can daisy-chain to either a V1 or V1.2 DisplayPort,

and computer-DisplayPort-2 connects to a V1.2 monitor, which can daisy-chain to either a V1 or V1.2 DisplayPort,

giving you 4 monitors.

What is the installed processor?

The graphics output capabilities are dependent on that. It will be one of the following list.

 Intel® Core™ i7-6700T with Intel HD Graphics 530 (2.8 GHz, up to 3.6 GHz with Intel Turbo Boost, 8 MB cache, 4 cores);
 Intel® Core™ i5-6600Twith Intel HD Graphics 530 (2.7 GHz, up to 3.5 GHz with Intel Turbo Boost, 6 MB cache, 4 cores);
Intel® Core™ i5-6500T with Intel HD Graphics 530(2.5 GHz, up to 3.1 GHz with Intel Turbo Boost, 6 MB cache, 4 cores);
Intel® Core™ i3-6300T with Intel HD Graphics 530 (3.3 GHz, 4 MB cache, 2 cores);
Intel® Pentium® G4500T with Intel HD Graphics 530 (3 GHz, 3 MB cache, 2 cores);
Intel® Pentium® G4400T with Intel HD Graphics 510 (2.9GHz, 3 MB cache, 2 cores

Dell has a coherent support article which has an image of the MST setup and describes the setup and some of its limitations.

You will need displays that have a Displayport 1.2 enable\disable option in the onscreen display menu and two Display ports. The reason for the Displayport 1.2 enable\disable option is to either setup a display as part of the MST chain or allow it to act as a terminator in the chain. Using 4k displays is not a viable option with the Intel HD graphics.
