we have a lot of monitors with DVI, DP, HDMI but no dasy chain compatible, and want to replace the desktops that currently have 4 monitors so....

If the MST hub would work it would be perfect

@I have not seen much information on MST hubs. In your situation I would find value in trying one. At @ $130.00 it is  certainly less expensive than investing in more expensive PCs and the cost of an additional video card with 3 video outputs.

If you decide to purchase one on your low-cost multiple display  attempt, it would be beneficial to the internet if you shared your success or failure.

ok so, I can gladly say that I got 4 monitors working on two Display Ports with Club3D CSV-5200 on Elitedesk 2g mini with Intel graphics

we also used dp to DVI adapters for monitors that only have DVI, monitors with resolution 1680x1050 showed a message out of range while 1920x1050 worked perfectly

We're currently running into the same situation, we have an elitedesk 800 g2 mini desktop with dual dvi outputs and need to have it working on a quad monitor display. If you don't mind me asking what product did you end up using from Club3D because I'm looking into using them for our solution based upon it working for you.

Thank you!

Do you mean two DisplayPort outputs from the motherboard?

Connect one output to a DisplayPort 1.2 monitor.  Connect a DisplayPort 1.1 (or 1.2) monitor to that monitor.

Repeat for the other output.

Port 1 -> DP 1.2 -> DP 1.1/1.2

Port 2 -> DP 1.2 -> DP 1.1/1.2

OK?

yes 2 display ports, I dont think the monitor DP matters, the diagram looks like this

                                                                             >DP monitor

                       >DP 1.2 port 1>MST HUB >

                                                                             >DP monitor

elite mini >

                                                                             >DP monitor

                       >DP 1.2 port 2>MST HUB >

                                                                             >DP monitor

or

                                                                 >DP to DVI Adapter > DVI monitor with resolution 1920x1050

                       >DP 1.2 port 1>MST HUB >
