HP Pavilion 500-c60 Desktop
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Windows PC HEALTH CHECK says that I can't upgrade to Windows 11 because I don't have the TMP2.0. Well I did; but some years ago I had a hacker on my computer and I decided to delete everything that I didn't know what it was. Remember that Windows screen where it had all those things listed and you could click  the "check marks" to turn that item on or off? Well, I was in that screen and I unchecked the TMP2.0. Now I went back in my BIOS to see if I only "disabled" it but now I can't relocate it anywhere and with Windows 10 64Bit I can't locate that check box screen either to see if it's listed and recheck it. Can anyone help me or will I have to purchase a new computer (desktop) to advance to Windows 11. My computer is 8 yrs old with 1 tiga byte and 4 RAM?

@Kueen1,

Welcome to our HP User Forum!

Your HP Pavilion 500-c60 Desktop PC, according to: https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c04058837, is fitted with this fixed/not-upgradable processor: AMD Kabini A6-5200 APU ("processor is soldered to the motherboard").

This processor is not listed in Microsoft's 'approved' Windows 11 supported AMD processors link: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-hardware/design/minimum/supported/windows-11-supported-amd....

Whether or not your PC has a TPM 2.0 device, is therefore irrelevant.

Doesn't mean you can't upgrade to Windows 11, though.

If interested to upgrade to Windows 11 on a "non-supported PC platform", @Paul_Tikkanen's suggestions are for you: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebook-Hardware-and-Upgrade-Questions/Issues-upgrading-to-windows-11....

Kind Regards,
