Hello, recently i bought new ram for my pc to make my games run faster, but i was sadly met with a blue screen, i have a windows 10 and I bought 2x4 gb RAM Patriot 1333 MHz, my friend told me that my pc has locked ram and that i need to instal driver on my pc but I couldnt find any, so I wanted to ask if there is still some way to make my ram work on my PC.

Hi:
What model Patriot memory did you use?
This model Patriot memory should have worked just fine...
I have this part number in a HP 8000 Elite CMT, a HP 8200 Elite CMT, and a HP 6200 Pro.

The memory you bought is not compatible.
8 GB memory modules are not supported in the 8100 Elite model series.
See the Quickspecs below, pages 8 & 9 for the memory upgrade info.
HP Compaq 8100 Elite PC (newegg.com)
The max memory each slot can take is only 4 GB. 4 x 4 GB is the max.
The PSD38G13332H memory is high density and that type memory is not supported.
You need the 4 GB PSD34G13332 memory like I bought.

Hi:
That memory won't work either. It is high density.
You need the plain memory like I bought.
You should be able to buy this memory in the Czech Republic.
You do not need memory with a heat shield.

If you buy the exact model memory I posted, it will work without doing a thing but to plug it into the slot.
You should never have to do anything to add memory.
If it doesn't work right away (assuming you firmly seated it into the memory slot), then it was not compatible.
