Hi,
Thanks for reaching out.
Kindly click on Start > Run CMD as administrator > Type this comman and hit enter
chkdsk /f
This is a Windows native command that scans the hard disk for errors and then fixes the errors and marks the bad sectors.
More about this command:
Also, you can go through hardware diagnostic steps:

Thanks for updating me.
Since it says it has no error, I would suggest going through these troubleshooting steps:

If the issue still persists, I recommend performing an in-place upgrade:

Welcome to our HP User Forum!
I would recommend running the UserBenchMark performance / benchmarking software first.
It's free, and I have found this benchmarking tool indispensable to assist me in upgrading and optimizing computers because this software tool provides individual component scores that will tell you a lot what is working well, what is bottlenecking your PC's performance, and you can compare your scores with other identical PC Users.
For example, please take a look at my latest legacy HP desktop upgrade project, and how I used UserBenchMark: Solved: Upgrading HP ProDesk 600 G3 MT - Page 2 - HP Support Community - 8544105.
You can download the UserBenchMark benchmarking software from here: https://www.userbenchmark.com/resources/download/UserBenchmarkInstaller.exe.
Hope this was helpful.
Kind Regards,

Hi
You can specifically check disk performance using CrystalDiskMark at this link: https://osdn.net/projects/crystaldiskmark/downloads/77936/CrystalDiskMark8_0_4c.exe/ to verify the M.2 storage device is working correctly.
